Trauma transformation training involves mention of triggering subjects to include other individuals' traumas, recollection of disturbing events, speaking of difficult emotions, profanity and sexual reference.

What are your known large traumas that you feel are important to share with us?

Define your understanding of a trauma-informed therapeutic approach and its importance in TVM somatic therapy.

How do you believe trauma can impact the pelvic floor?

If applicable, please share an example of how you have applied trauma-informed principles in your previous pelvic work or personal life and relationship to your pelvic floor and that of others you may have touched or engaged with.

What steps do you take to create a safe and inclusive space for individuals who have experienced pelvic floor trauma to include sexual trauma? How do/would you ensure their comfort and empowerment during the therapeutic process?

Are you capable of working with a person through a very deep process that can involve all sorts of sensations like pain, grief, to pleasure and even potentially orgasm and back again without losing focus on the neutrality of the therapeutic work and the therapeutic process? Please state what you feel enables you to do this work.

I am willing and able to commit to the full duration of the TVM pelvic floor somatic therapy training program, including attendance of all sessions and completion of any assigned coursework or practice requirements.
